Why I decided to become a weight loss challenge coach ?

Health was always an issue for me. I suffered from a very weak immune throughout my teens and early 20's. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired! I think the Weight Loss Challenge is really a "Get Healthy Challenge" yes, it helps people lose weight and achieve their perfect shape, but more importantly changing our eating habits helps improve our long term health! I've coached 8 WLC groups and have witnessed the most incredible health results as well as weight loss. These classes really do change people's lives!

I was diagnosed with a serious Kidney problem when I was a child. I was given course after course antibiotics and by the time I was 12 my immune system had completely broken down.

I didn't understand about healthy eating or supplementation and was getting sick 6 times a year, each time I got sick, I had to take the same antibiotic which was treating the symptoms but not the underlying cause = I needed to build up my immune system.

I started coaching Weight Loss Challenge classes with the intention of helping others. However, I ended up educating myself in the process! I made some changes to my diet and started having the Herbalife Healthy breakfast. The results have been Incredible. My energy increased dramatically, my skin started glowing and I shaped up. I also built up my Immune system to a point where I only get sick once a year, and if I do, a few days in bed sorts me out! No more doctor fees, No more Antibiotics !

My advice to anyone thinking of joining a WLC class :
Do yourself and your body a favor, take this course! I'm turning 30 next year and feel and look better than I did when I was 21 !

I decided to become a Weight Loss Challenge coach because I like to help people.
I really enjoy watching Participants become more and more confident as they realize it IS possible to feel great, full of energy and lose weight at the same time! As a weight Loss Challenge coach I feel I play a small part in helping people achieve the shape they always dreamed of.

I never suffered with extra weight until I came to Ireland. I was working long hours and was constantly tired and getting sick every other week. Because I wasn't giving my body the nutrition it needed I gained 13 lbs and it was no wonder, I was eating rubbish! I met a friend who introduced me to the Weight Loss Challenge and I really liked it.
The Information was practical and easy to apply to my daily life. I kept up my healthy eating throughout my 1sr pregnancy and used the weight Loss Challenge and the Herbalife healthy breakfast program to lose 32 lbs and get rid of the baby weight !
I also improved my digestive system, my skin is better then ever before and even my hair has got stronger! I truly feel fantastic :)

Why I decided to become a weight loss challenge coach ?

I had reached a point in my life where I was frightened by the fact I could no longer climb a flight of stairs without having to sit down afterwards breathing heavily for 15 minutes. A simple walk to the shop was hardship for me. My asthma was acting up a lot, my knee joints and back was giving me trouble and I found myself in a vicious cycle of Doctor Visits, prescriptions and painkillers.

I started to review my life and realized I live in a county where the population live the longest in Ireland, well into their 80's and 90's. My own grandmother was a perfect example. At the age of 90 she fell over kicking a football around a school yard !
I was frightened that unless I did something now I wouldn't be enjoying life to the full, like my granny's generation. This is a generation who still think nothing of cycling 10 miles a day.
But here I was at the age of 35 not even able to climb a flight of stairs without being out of breath !

I was handed a leaflet one day on the street, and I will admit hands up on this, I was not happy; the person who handed it to me was thin and had beautiful clear skin, but it was the wake-up call I needed. I held on to the leaflet and discussed it with my friend in the office, she told me go for it.
I worked up the courage to call the next morning; luckily they had a place for me as the first class had been filled the day before.

Very nervously I joined the Challenge in Sep 08. When I look back now I can only laugh at myself, even my body language was closed, and I was sending off a clear message of "don't come near me!". But with the help of the coaches and the other participants in the challenge, I listened and really gave it a try. I didn't set out to win the Challenge (it would have been nice though !) I just wanted to lose weight and get healthy. I started using the Herbalife Healthy breakfast program and the first signs of health started to appear. My first result was my skin started to clear up. I got through the winter without an asthma attack; I didn't need to visit the doctor every month ! I achieved my goal and dramatically improved my health and the nice side affect was I lost weight and dropped 2 dress sizes.

I knew first hand what it felt like to be over weight, I had tried every diet under the sun but never managed to maintain my weight Loss. When I came across the Weight Loss Challenge I was amazed by how simple it was to achieve and maintain my ideal weight and feel great! I couldn't understand why more people didn't know about the Weight Loss Challenge. The feeling of being part of a group dedicated to help each other succeed and get healthy is priceless. I love every Weight Loss Challenge class I've ever been a part of and by helping others I'm helping myself stay healthy too!

I gained weight due to shocking eating habits. I drank 2 Liters of Diet cola a day, every day. I skipped meals and then overate at night, by the age of 20 I was addicted to coffee, diet drinks and sugar, my weight was fluctuating and I was told I suffered from cystic acne and unless I did something about my nutrition I was going to have acne scars on my face, chest and back. My self esteem was rock bottom and to make everything worse my mom, who is 30 years older, was looking amazing after having lost 22 lbs! Needless to Say I was going to do whatever she did. I started on the Herbalife healthy breakfast program and lost 16lbs. That was 7 years ago and I've never had a weight problem since. More importantly, my skin cleared up and I don't have any acne scarring. I'm so grateful for the knowledge that was given to me and which I can now share with others. Why I decided to become a weight loss challenge coach ?

I never had a weight problem until a few years ago, when I put on nearly 2stone. Because I love my food, diets did not work for me. When I saw the leaflet for the Weight Loss Challenge I decided I would give it a try as it seemed not to focus on cutting back on food but just on being educated and choosing the right nutritional food.

I completed 1 cycle (3 months) of the WLC, and along with the Herbalife healthy Breakfast I lost 16lbs, and 63cm! Everyone told me I looked really good! There were other health benefits too: I suffered from very uncomfortable and embarrassing digestive problems - not a problem anymore !
I was a coffee addict (6-8 cups a day) but replaced Coffee with the Thermojectics herbal Tea, and now only have coffee as a treat instead of relying on it to get me through the day !
I found that the WLC class did much more than just teach me about good food choices, it kept me focused and everyone in the class encouraged each other and had handy tips to share. When I finished the WLC (I came second and won €150!)
I decided to become a WLC coach as I wanted to keep in the zone and help other people realize that they can do this too. And so the WLC in St Andrew's Rialto was born which I am facilitating and encouraging people I know to take part in.

My advice to anyone thinking of joining the WLC is to come to the classes regularly for the support and encouragement, there is a weigh in and also measuring each week, which participants do themselves for each other, and to do the Herbalife healthy breakfast program, which is delicious and full of goodness. I would also encourage people who join the class to bring their friends along as by helping others you help yourself Big time !

Why I decided to become a weight loss challenge coach ?

I became a wellness coach because the information and knowledge that I have gained about healthy eating is something each and everyone of us should know. Getting the balance right for our body in order for it to operate at its full potential is something we can all learn about. Many of are suffering needlessly, with weight, low energy, headaches, digestive problems and much more, all of which can be improved by changing our nutritional habits for the better. There is no delight in owning anything unshared and by being a coach I have the opportunity to share.

I grew-up being involved in athletics so I never worried about weight as it wasn't an issue. However when I went to college and during my summers away my routine went out the window and bad habits crept in; a lot of beer, takeaways and convenience foods. Usually I'd end up putting on about a stone in weight and each time I'd set myself a goal to lose the stone within six to eight weeks. Normally I'd achieve it by cutting out the junk, getting back exercising and eating healthy such as green tea, fruit, salads, healthy snacks, but it wasn't easy,. I'd lose the stone but something was missing, I was really tired in the afternoons and evenings, I had a grey complexion and felt older than I was.

Then three years ago, one of my students invited me along to a Health Meeting, where I heard about the Herbalife products, I was intrigued listening to the stories so I decided to try them not expecting much to be honest. I didn't notice much of a difference in the first few weeks, but after a month I really noticed changes, firstly my energy levels remained high throughout the day, no dips in the afternoons and evening which is brilliant, my quality of sleep is much better, I get complements on my complexion all the time, I feel fantastic, haven't been ill in over three years and to top it all off I went from a size 12/14 to a size 8/10 and have remained this size in 3 years.

If you want to look and feel great till the day you die you can ;) Don't wait for time, make time! The challenge is as much a challenge as you want to make it but what doesn't change is; the support, the motivation, the fun and more importantly the amazing results keep getting better!
